About Emma Pomfret
Emma Pomfret is a highly experienced Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX), with over 30 years in the legal sector, specialising in personal injury law. She began her career as a Legal Secretary in Stockport in 1986 and progressed to become a Legal Executive around 2008, having completed Part 1 at MANCAT and Part 2 via distance learning.
She has handled a wide variety of personal injury claims, including road traffic accidents (RTA), employers’ liability (EL), and public liability (PL), building a reputation for her client-first approach and dependable legal expertise.
Emma has also contributed significantly to the broader legal community through published articles and judicial training involvement.

Career Experience
Emma began working as a Legal Secretary in 1986 before becoming a claims handler around 1992 with Antony Hodari & Co., focusing on RTA claims. She later spent over a decade at Pannone, managing a mix of RTA, EL, and PL cases.
Following this role, she gained further experience with Leech & Co. in credit hire litigation and at Minster Law handling general PI. After relocating to Bolton, Emma initially commuted to Yorkshire before settling into her current role at JF Law to be closer to family.
